Narrative Essays

In narration, the writer tells a story about a series of events. First the writer has to tell the story clearly enough for the reader to follow what happened. Second, the writer has to tell the story dramatically enough to keep the readers' attention and interest. One way to keep a reader's attention is by describing the people and places in the story vividally. Generally, narratives are told chronologically, and they answer the six basic journalistic questions: Who?What? When?Where? Why and How? Narration often uses the first person (I,We) because the writer is recounting personal experience.

Body Paragraphs Classroom Summary

A body paragraph is a group of related sentences about a particular topic or idea directly relating to the thesis.  Because essays are composed of multiple body paragraphs, writing and organizing good paragraphs is one of the most important aspects of creating a well-organized and developed essay. The term body paragraph refers to any paragraph that follows the introduction and comes before the conclusion. The majority of any essay consists of multiple body paragraphs, and it is in these paragraphs where the main information is presented.

Revision:
You should revise your writing based on the feedback from peers and the tutor. You should revise drafts for clarity of meaning, content, coherence, logical order, adding or deleting details.
Editing:
Now,you should check your work for accuracy. You should edit it for grammar, spelling, punctuation, diction and sentence structure.
Publishing and reflection:
In this stage, you should publish your final draft on your blog. You should reflect on your weaknesses and strengths through out the writing process on the blog.
